Dr. Ajay Choudhri is the director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and chairman of Radiology at Capital Health. He is a founding member of the private radiology group Capital Health Advanced Imaging, PC and has been instrumental in the growth of the group since its inception in 2003.
Dr. Choudhri maintains board certifications in diagnostic radiology and endovascular medicine. He is fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology. His clinical expertise is in advanced imaging and treatment of vascular disease.
Dr. Choudhri completed his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. He completed his radiology residency at Montefiore Hospital-Albert Einstein New York and finished his VIR fellowship at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
He maintains active interest in healthcare policy, economics, bioinformatics and entrepreneurship. He currently serves on the Oncology Strategy Task Force, Neuroscience Steering Committee, Heart and Vascular Steering Committee, Medical Curriculum Committee, and Medical Executive Committee at Capital Health.
He is a mentor at digital-health start-up incubator Tigerlabs in Princeton, NJ. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine and the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs.
He has been a top doctor since 2005 for Inside Jersey, Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctors and Best Doctors for New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
