Dr. Gregg Giannina is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine, with expertise in fetal diagnosis and therapy. Dr. Giannina received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, New Jersey. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Giannina completed fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Giannina was director of maternal fetal medicine in a Central New Jersey hospital system and in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. He performed the first fetoscopic fetal surgeries in both New Jersey and Arizona.
Dr. Giannina has participated in many research projects during his career, and is the author of several peer-reviewed scientific publications. He is an active member of several OB/GYN medical societies.
