Rachael Sampson, MD, MHA, FACOG

Rachael Sampson, MDDr. Rachael Sampson is a fellowship trained maternal fetal medicine specialist providing care and management in complex perinatal cases. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and received her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York where she completed her OB/GYN residency, serving as Chief Resident. 

Dr. Sampson completed fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She received her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in Lancaster. 

Dr. Sampson is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the International Society of Ultrasound in OB/GYN. She is also a recipient of the Benacerraf Ultrasound Fellowship award from the Gottesfeld-Hohler Memorial Foundation at the Center for Fetal Medicine and Women’s Ultrasound in Los Angeles, California, where she refined her skills in first-trimester fetal diagnostic imaging and genetic evaluation. Dr. Sampson is the recipient of several academic teaching awards and compassionate care patient awards and is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. 

In addition to authoring numerous peer-reviewed research articles and presenting at several national conferences, Dr. Sampson serves as a peer reviewer for the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology, the official publication of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Prior to joining Capital Health Maternal Fetal Medicine, she was an OB/GYN for ten years with attending positions at hospital systems in Mercer County, New Jersey and Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. As a member of the Board of Directors for the Bucks County Medical Society, Dr. Sampson is honored to contribute to advancing maternal-child health within the communities served by Capital Health.
