Dr. Ashley Yeh grew up in Seattle, WA and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in May 2020. During school, she was involved with a variety of opportunities in community outreach and flu clinics, as well as research at the Susan Lehman Cullman Laboratory for Cancer Research. Through her rotations, Dr. Yeh was able to experience pharmacy practice in a variety of settings across the country and she is excited about the efforts to expand pharmacy presence here at Capital Health. Dr. Yeh’s career interest areas include critical care, emergency medicine, and ambulatory care. During her residency, she looks forward to working in the high level trauma center and providing care to patients within the Trenton area.
Dr. Steven Chen is from Edison, NJ and graduated from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Throughout pharmacy school, he worked at an independent retail pharmacy and volunteered with a local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). During his last year of pharmacy school, he presented a poster at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting on the usage of COPD inhalers at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Rahway which led to hospital-wide improvements in the treatment of COPD.
Dr. Chen’s career interests primarily lie in pharmacy informatics, and he plans to pursue a PGY2 residency in pharmacy informatics. He is also very excited to teach and mentor students, and he plans to obtain a teaching certificate from his alma mater.
