Throughout a variety of educational experiences, the resident is responsible for establishing a working relationship with medicine residents, the attending physician, medical students, nursing staff, pharmacy staff, other health professionals and patients / caregivers to identify, prevent, or resolve medication-related issues in the general medicine patient population. The resident will also gain experience to interact with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers on a daily basis to improve his/her communication and interpersonal skills.
