Application Process and Requirements

Capital Health System offers two PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency positions and one PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency position annually. Capital Health complies with all the contracted provisions of the National Match program administered by ASHP. Capital Health will contact candidates as selected by the program on the merits of their application for interview.

Eligibility requirements for PGY1 Residency: Eligibility requirements for PGY2 Residency:
  • Will graduate/or have graduated from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree prior to start of the residency program
  • Are a citizen or legal resident of the United States
  • Are eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • Are a citizen or legal resident of the United States
  • Are eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Will graduate/or have graduated from an ASHP accredited or Pre-Candidate PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency program
