Kelly Mackenzie, PhD

Behavioral Health and Community Medicine Lead
Dr. Kelly MacKenzie is a licensed clinical health psychologist at Capital Health and has been the behaviorist for the Family Medicine Residency Program since 2025. She previously directed behavioral health training and well-being programming as a core faculty member of the Geisinger Lewistown Rural Family Medicine Program in Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. MacKenzie is passionate about applied behavioral medicine, primary care psychology, community intervention, and equity-focused integrated care. She currently practices alongside residents and faculty at Capital Health Primary Care – Brunswick Avenue, and she exclusively provides care to the patients established in our office. Outside of this role, she acts as a consultant to the VICTORY program, an initiative of the Institute for Urban Care dedicated to offering trauma-informed support to community members impacted by violence.
Outside of work, Dr. MacKenzie loves exploring the local community with her husband, crafting, reading, making 1SE videos, and spending time with her family.
