Capital Health Medical Group, a network of more than 600 physicians and other clinicians who offer primary and specialty care, has opened a new primary care office in the Logan Square Shopping Center to further support the health and well-being of the greater Bucks County community.
The new Capital Health Primary Care – New Hope, located at 6542-H Lower York Road in New Hope, Pennsylvania, will be led by Dr. Andrew Davenport, a board certified family medicine physician who treats children (ages five and older), adolescents, and adults. Dr. Davenport offers services to help prevent illness, handle everyday medical needs, and manage chronic health issues. After receiving his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, he completed a family medicine residency at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell in Pennington, New Jersey.
“We are pleased to continue to expand our health care services in Bucks County with the opening of our Capital Health Primary Care – New Hope office,” said Michelle Dougherty, senior director, Capital Health Medical Group. “This seventh office location in Bucks County allows us to grow in a new area and serve an even broader population of patients in the community.”
As part of Capital Health Medical Group, Capital Health Primary Care – New Hope offers easy access to experienced specialists and surgeons when necessary and the most advanced care in the region at nearby Capital Health hospitals when patients need it most - virtually everything they need to stay on the path to better health.
All Capital Health Medical Group offices use a shared electronic medical records system, which allows providers to access medical records on a secure network, making it convenient for patients to continue their care across the network of primary and specialty care providers. For those who aren’t feeling well, Capital Health Virtual Care offers video visits seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., for anyone (ages 16 and older) who needs to see one of our qualified and experienced providers from Capital Health Medical Group while at home or on the go. Patients can also manage their health easier using Capital Health Medical Group's patient portal, which allows patients to conveniently access information about any of their visits online.
Office hours at Capital Health Primary Care – New Hope are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and Wednesday (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). To make an appointment, call or 215.845.0740 visit capitalhealth.org/newhope.
