Home Exercise Program

Your therapist will provide you with some lower extremity exercises that will help you prepare for surgery. Try to do these exercises three to four times a day. Avoid those exercises that cause you too much pain. Contact your therapist with any questions or concerns. Some exercises that may be part of your program include glut sets, quad sets, ankle pumps, straight leg raises, heel slides, knee extension, and hip abduction/adduction.
