Those who provide transportation and/or support to our patients play an important role in the care we provide. We realize that some services take longer than others, which could require some waiting. For the convenience of our patients’ companions, the operating rooms at both Capital Health Regional Medical Center and Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell provide a pager to those who are waiting. These pagers make sure that we can stay in touch with patient companions as they visit our cafeterias and gift shops while waiting for the status of their loved ones in surgery. Our pagers work anywhere inside the hospital and will activate once there is an update.
