Capital Women in Philanthropy (CWP) hosted the annual Circle of Care Reception on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at The Stone Terrace by John Henry’s in Hamilton, NJ. This reception celebrated the extraordinary achievements of the 2024 grantees, highlighting programs and initiatives supported by grant dollars made possible by CWP, and offered congratulations to the 2025 grantees.
The event was capped off with the third annual Founders Award, given to Ginny Stemhagen. The Founders Award was created in 2023 to honor an individual who exemplifies Capital Women in Philanthropy membership. Ginny is one of the founding members of CWP, making her first gift of support in December 2007, and she has not missed a year since! No one deserves this inaugural award as much as Ginny.
Since 2007, Capital Women in Philanthropy’s annual grant program has combined invaluable resources, knowledge and skills to award more than $827,000 to 165 deserving projects seeding or advancing initiatives that have a distinct focus on the health and well-being of patients, their families, caregivers and our community.
