Samuel J. Plumeri, Jr. has served as a guiding force for Capital Health for 16 years, helping to lead the health care system as a member of the Capital Health Board of Directors from 2003 to 2018. During his tenure as a board member, Plumeri functioned as vice chairman of the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2009 and chairman of the Board of Directors from 2009 to 2014. With the formation of the corporation of Capital Healthcare, Inc. in 2015, Plumeri was appointed chairman of the Board of Trustees—a role which he still holds.

Plumeri is also chairman of the New Jersey State Parole Board. In this capacity, he oversees an organization that serves as the state’s lead re-entry agency working to ensure that ex-offenders return to society as law-abiding citizens. Additionally, Plumeri is charged with reducing the state’s recidivism rate.

Sean Murray is the market executive and senior vice president of Fulton Bank, NA in the central region of New Jersey. He is responsible for growing the Bank's commercial banking business and introducing the Fulton Bank brand to the region.

Prior to Fulton Bank, Sean served as market executive of the New Jersey market for wealth advisory services at Wilmington Trust in Princeton, and prior to that as managing director and senior vice president of the wealth management group at First Union/Wachovia Bank in West Trenton. He holds a BA in economics from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC, and an MBA from Villanova University.

Colleen brings extensive experience of a combined government, healthcare and technology background to work with existing and emerging technologies with a focus on health innovation to support Integrity Health as an advanced provider of digital healthcare services. Formerly, Colleen was appointed by Governor Chris Christie as the NJ Health IT Coordinator overseeing $1B in funding for electronic medical record adoption and health information exchange and establishing the NJ health information network (NJHIN).

Vice President, Capital Health Foundation

Jennifer Antinoro serves as Vice President of Capital Health Foundation. In this role, Jenn provides oversight and stewardship of the Foundation and its assets, including all fundraising and development activities, such as our Arts and Healing program, Young Professional’s Committee, and partnership with the Auxiliary. She previously served as the Foundation’s Executive Director.

Jenn joined Capital Health in 2018 as director of individual and legacy giving. During her time at Capital Health, Jenn has cultivated both internal and external relationships to further develop our philanthropic efforts and fundraising, including with individuals in our community and among our grateful patients and Capital Health family. Jenn’s leadership has resulted in philanthropic support for Capital Health’s Trenton Neighborhood Initiative, leveraging support to benefit our community. She also planned and executed the Campaign for Capital Health, which has secured gift commitments to support our patients and programs. She oversees Capital Gratitude, our grateful patient platform, and the Phillip Witte Society, Capital Health’s planned giving platform.

Prior to joining Capital Health, Jenn was the director of giving at Notre Dame High School and director of outreach and development for NAMI Mercer. Her experience also includes work at youth focused non-profits in the Lehigh Valley both as a CEO and program director.

Jenn is a Certified Fundraising Executive. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in English from DeSales University. She has conferred master degrees in Social Work, Law and Social Policy, as well as Health Administration.

Capital Health

Al Maghazehe is the president and CEO of Capital Health, a very successful two-hospital health system comprised of the Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell and an outpatient facility in Hamilton Township. To complement the healthcare system, he built a comprehensive network of primary care physician offices. He has led the transformation of Capital Health from an inner-city health system to a regional healthcare destination, attracting patients from throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, PA and specialists from all over the country.

Under Maghazehe’s leadership, Capital Health received a $756 million financing arrangement from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the largest ever granted by the agency in its history. The financing enabled Capital Health to build a new, state-of-the-art hospital in Hopewell Township, NJ and to expand Capital Health Regional Medical Center to specialize in advanced medical care.

Gary A. Brown, DO, FAPAGary A. Brown, DO, FAPA

Chairman, Department of Psychiatry

Dr. Gary Brown has been in practice for more than 30 years specializing in psychiatry. He earned his medical degree at Des Moines University – Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his post-doctoral training in psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry — School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey. He trained at the Institute of The Philadelphia Association for Psychoanalysis in Bala-Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in psychiatry by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and certified in buprenorphine detoxification by the American Psychiatric Association.

Brian Bennett is a retired vice president/general manager of Haldeman Lexus of Princeton in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where he worked for 32 years and was known throughout his career as a consummate professional with expertise in all areas of the automotive dealership industry. He currently works part time in business development for the Haldeman Auto Group.

Bennett has served the Mercer and Bucks county areas in many capacities for the last 38 years. Prior to joining the Capital Health Hospital Board of Directors, he was a trustee of the former St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, where he served for 11 years and was chairman of the Finance and Compliance and Audit committees. He also was chairman of the St. Francis Medical Center Foundation for 18 years. He was recognized many times during his term at St. Francis for his willingness and efforts to better serve the Trenton community and remains committed to helping lead operational excellence and stewardship to provide patient-centered care of the highest quality.
