Dr. Erika Villanueva is a compassionate and considerate endocrinologist caring for the New Jersey community. Dr. Villanueva received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After completing her residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Villanueva completed fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and bone disease at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
Before joining Capital Health, Dr. Villanueva was a physician and clinical instructor at New York University School of Medicine. She has published and presented research for a number of medical journals and conferences and is affiliated with a variety of professional associations, including Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
