Suraj Parikh, MD
Dr. Suraj Parikh is an interventional radiologist specializing in the full spectrum of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. His clinical expertise includes embolotherapy, pain interventions, spine augmentation, interventional oncology, venous disease, and gallstone and biliary endoscopy/lithotripsy. Dr. Parikh emphasizes a collaborative, team-based approach that ensures patients receive coordinated care from diagnosis through follow-up.
Dr. Parikh completed his diagnostic and interventional radiology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident. He completed fellowship training in interventional radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Parikh has authored more than 40 manuscripts and abstracts and has received numerous honors, including the Society of Interventional Radiology’s Outstanding Scientific Poster Award, the Top Case Award at the West Coast Interventional Radiology Symposium, New York Academy of Medicine Ferdinand C. Valentine Research Grant in Urology, and the first prize at the Temple University Undergraduate Research Symposium. His professional interests also extend to global health outreach, and he was among the first interventionalists to help bring interventional radiology to Uganda.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking, and traveling with his friends and family.
