Auxiliary Service Projects

Clothes4Change: Provides gently used clothing free of charge to families in need who are being treated through the Capital Health Family Health Center in Trenton.

CHATS Club: Hopewell Valley Central High School club members who serve on our Junior Auxiliary Board and work as teen sponsors to support Auxiliary service projects and fundraisers.

Cookie Donation Program: Collects cookies and other snacks to benefit cancer patients.

Family Health Center Farmers Market: Hosts farmers markets to educate patients about the benefits of healthy eating and to instill good eating habits.

Care Packs for Kids: Provides backpacks filled with toiletries, school supplies, comfort items, and a gift card for clothing for children who have been displaced from their homes.

Mobile Library: Provides books, crosswords and magazines to patients to enhance their hospital experience.

Tales for Tiny Tots Literacy Program: Every baby being born at Capital Health  is given a copy of "I Will Talk to You, Little One," imprinted with their footprint, not only a keepsake but also as their introduction to the wonderful world of reading.

Toy Closet: Collects toys for children being treated in the Pediatric ER and Pediatric Inpatient Unit at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell to ease anxiety and fear that a hospital visit may cause.

Mental Health Service Program: Provides support to patients and staff by sponsoring the unit’s resource library and sensory cart. We are also working to provide a space for patients and staff to experience the calming and healing properties of nature and plants through our Green Oasis project.
