Katie Nahas is board certified by the American Midwifery Certfication Board. Katie provides women with full-scope midwifery services, including prenatal and postpartum care, prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, and managing inductions, augmentations and natural labor process. She is certified for neonatal resuscitation and surgical first assisting at Cesarean delivery.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Prior to joining Capital Health, she worked for more than five years at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Before becoming a midwife, Katie was a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery at Jefferson Health – Abington in Abington, Pennsylvania.
In her free time, Katie enjoys running and finding seasonal outdoor activities to explore with her kids.
