Dr. Elliot Walters is a general surgeon and fellowship trained surgical critical care and trauma physician. He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and completed residencies in general surgery at Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Walters completed a clinical and research fellowship in diabetic limb salvage at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and an acute burn and surgical critical care fellowship and research fellowship in burn and trauma surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Walters worked as an acute care and trauma surgeon in Lehigh, Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Burn Association, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Surgeons.
