Abroo Muzaffar, APN-C, VAD-C, CCRN-CMC, CHFN

Abroo Muzaffar received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She has also obtained the Optimal Medical Therapy Heart Failure Certification (OMT-HF) and the Ventricular Assist Device Certification (VAD-C). 

Prior to joining Capital Health, Abroo worked at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey as the lead advanced heart failure nurse practitioner and lead VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) coordinator and at Mercer Bucks Cardiology (now Capital Health Cardiology Specialists) as nurse practitioner for the Advanced Heart Failure program.

Abroo is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Association, the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, the International Consortium of Circulatory Assist Clinicians, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
