Beginning in 2002, Capital Health has earned the Magnet Recognition designation five consecutive times. The Magnet credential is conferred by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for excellence in nursing service and practice.
In 2023, the Nurse Residency and Mentoring Program at Capital Health earned accreditation as a Practice Transition Program by the ANCC Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. This credential is awarded to organizations demonstrating excellence in transitioning nurses to new practice settings.
