Catia Vincent is a registered nurse and certified diabetes care and education specialist at Capital Health – Endocrinology Specialists, where she provides evidence-based education and training to promote successful self-management of diabetes. Catia monitors and interprets comprehensive personal health data (such as blood glucose readings, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), and insulin pumps) to assist patients in achieving optimal glycemic control. Through assessments and patient-centered discussions, Catia helps to guide her patients in quality of life improvement.
Catia received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has almost 15 years of experience in primary care, home health care, short stay, and hospital settings throughout Central New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area. She has been with Capital Health since 2015 and joined Capital Health – Endocrinology Specialists two years later. Catia is a member of number of professional societies, including the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and the American Diabetes Association. She speaks fluent Haitian Creole.
