Jacob is part of the Center for Spinal Disorders where he performs a variety of diagnostic and health management services for patients and referring physicians. He first assists in minimally invasive and complex spinal and neurological surgery and manages surgical patients in both the ICU and medical surgical units. With more than 15 years of clinical experience in both hospital and private practice settings, Jacob helps manage the clinical operations of the practice.
Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Jacob received his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he completed an accelerated five-year bachelor/master’s degree program. Prior to joining the Center for Spinal Disorders, Jacob served as one of the senior physician assistants in the Neurosurgery ICU at Capital Health, helping manage a wide array of neurosurgical conditions. In addition to his clinical roles, Jacob also provides spine and neurosurgery education to the nursing and medical staff. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
