Dr. Laisa Vadakara is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical focus is in preventative care and treatment for diabetes and obesity. Dr. Vadakara completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey and a transitional medicine residency at United Hospital Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. She received her medical degree from Dr. Ambedkar Medical College – Bangalore University in Karnataka, India.
Prior to joining Capital Health, Dr. Vadakara was in private practice in Mercer County, New Jersey for more than 25 years. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is fluent in Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil.
In her free time, Dr. Vadakara enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with family.
