Dr. Dhyani Shah is board certified in family medicine. After receiving her medical degree and master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Rowan University in Stratford, New Jersey, she completed her family medicine residency at Penn Highlands Healthcare in Dubois, Pennsylvania where she held several leadership positions.
Dr. Shah is experienced in providing comprehensive primary and community care for all patients age 12 and over. She has clinical expertise in performing outpatient procedures such as knee and shoulder joint injections, pap smears and skin procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, and incision/drainage. Dr. Shah is also trained in providing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments (OMT) such as muscle energy, myofascial release, and soft tissue techniques.
Prior to joining Capital Health Primary Care – Princeton, Dr. Shah worked at Geisinger Community Medicine in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. She is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
In her spare time, Dr. Shah enjoys traveling around the world with her husband, cooking healthy vegetarian meals and spending time with family and friends.
