Dr. Sanam Patel is a board certified family medicine physician whose clinical focus is on disease prevention and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits. With an emphasis on patient-centered care, she strives to empower individuals and families to take an active role in their well-being and health-care decisions. She approaches each patient by considering factors such as family dynamics, community support, housing, employment, nutrition and mental health.
Prior to joining Capital Health Primary Care – Ewing, Dr. Patel worked as an attending primary care physician and clinical instructor at NYU Langone in New York, New York. She received her medical degree from McGill University in Quebec, Canada where she went on to complete a family medicine residency.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Physicians. She is fluent in French, Gujrati and Hindi.
