Amanda is a board certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with more than 19 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse first assistant (in surgical settings) and staff nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went on to complete the university’s Master of Science – Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
Before joining Capital Health, Amanda worked in private practice and at several hospitals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as a registered nurse first assistant and staff nurse. She has experience in cardiac, vascular, general and orthopedic surgery, as well as in robotic surgery for thoracic, urological, gynecological and colorectal cases.
Amanda is fluent in Spanish.
