Public health challenges are part of every city across the country, often with challenges to pathways for making improvements. At Capital Health Institute for Urban Care, we’ve been working to identify new ways of tackling Trenton’s critical health, education, economic, and environmental challenges for more than a decade.
Through collaborations with the city’s health care providers, local government, and faith-based organizations, schools, and food banks, the Institute aims to deepen Capital Health’s connections to Trenton and make meaningful and lasting improvements for its residents.
Mission
The Institute will coalesce, grow and align the services of Capital Health with those of the community and other partners to advance the health and well-being of the residents of Trenton.
Vision
- To optimize the delivery of health care services for the residents of Trenton in an environment that improves quality, enhances the patient experience and decreases costs.
- To advance the outcomes related to health equity for the population of Trenton - through research, innovation, engagement and the procurement of addition of resources.
