PANCREATIC CANCER: Managing Risk, Making and Understanding a Diagnosis

Not as common as other forms of cancer, pancreatic cancer frequently goes undetected until its later stages. Join Dr. Jason Rogart, director of Interventional Gastroenterology & Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Capital Health Center for Digestive Health, and understand how pancreatic cancer is diagnosed and how doctors determine how advanced the disease is. Also, learn more about risk factors and what screenings may help patients who are at a higher risk. A genetic counselor from our Cancer Center will discuss the important relationship between cancer and genetics and take you through what genetic counseling and testing is like from the perspective of a participant.
