Dr. Sophia Yi received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Yi completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey, where she managed high-risk patients in an underserved population.
Dr. Yi completed the Intuitive Surgical DaVinci Basic Robotics Surgical Course at the Advent Health Nicholson Center in Celebration, Florida, where she became certified to perform minimally invasive, robotic assisted gynecological procedures using the DaVinci surgical system. She applies her training to specific clinical applications through peer-to-peer interaction, hands-on simulations and other educational opportunities.
Dr. Yi is fluent in Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, fitness, and traveling.
