An award-winning hospital system, Capital Health serves as a Level II regional trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, regional perinatal center (including a Level III NICU), and emergency mental health screening center.

In addition, the System offers the region's first and most experienced Pediatric Emergency Department and, most recently, New Jersey's first Autism-Friendly Pediatric Emergency Department, along with numerous other innovative programs.

“Capital Health is pleased to be a provider for Amerigroup New Jersey participants,” said Al Maghazehe, president and CEO of Capital Health. “Our community-based approach to improving the health and wellbeing of residents in the Mercer County region aligns well with their commitment to expanding access to care among lower-income families. This partnership is good for both of our organizations, but more importantly, it is great news for many of the people we serve.”
