This class helps prepare first-time expectant parents to care for their newborn and is taught by an experienced, certified childbirth and parent educator. Class includes keeping baby healthy, sleeping, crying, comforting, bathing, diapering and new parent support systems available.
This support group is designed for new parents with babies under one year old. We’ll cover topics such as infant care, feeding, sleeping, postpartum recovery, and more. You are encouraged to bring your baby, and partners or other support people are more than welcome to join as well.

Dr. Kristina McGuire, a licensed clinical psychologist from Capital Health Behavioral Health Specialists, will discuss strategies to cope with feelings of anger, grief, fear and helplessness related to the sociopolitical environment.
This class is taught by a board certified lactation consultant from Capital Health's Lactation Center. Class should be taken before the birth of the baby.
