Understanding Concussion and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy

Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a condition of the brain that occurs as the result of repeated head traumas that cause concussions. Join Dr. Emil Matarese, director of the Concussion Program at Capital Health’s Capital Institute for Neurosciences, for a discussion of the signs and symptoms of concussion, current treatment options, and potential long-term consequences of repeated head trauma. The current understanding of CTE dementia will also be reviewed.
