Prediabetes: Lifestyle Strategies to Manage and Prevent Progression

Prediabetes is a common condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes. Without lifestyle changes, many people with prediabetes will go on to develop type 2 diabetes, along with increased risk for heart disease and stroke. The good news is that small, realistic changes in eating habits, physical activity, sleep, and stress management can significantly reduce this risk. Join us to learn practical, evidence-based strategies to take control of your health and prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. This class is led by Mindy Komosinsky, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Capital Health.

Registration is required. This class is free and is held virtually via Zoom. A call-in option is available for those without video access. Zoom details will be provided via email 2-3 days before the class. Registration ends 24 hours before the start of each class.
