Chair Yoga Classes for Parkinson's Patients

Please join us for this new program geared towards members of our community with Parkinson’s disease. Yoga can increase flexibility, provide better balance and strength, decrease muscle cramps, and lead to deeper, easier breathing and peace of mind. The program will be led by a certified yoga instructor and will be located in our new Wellness Center at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell.

Meet the Instructor: Maureen Kaelblein received her RYT 200 hour yoga certification and enjoys teaching many types of yoga. Maureen is passionate about the connection between breath and movement that yoga provides all practitioners, and she strives to bring joy to each of her clients through the practice of yoga.

Cost: $20 for 4 classes 

Next Session: Tuesdays, February 1 - February 22, 2022 | 4 - 5 p.m.

Capital Health Wellness Center Safety Protocols

  • 6 person max per class to maintain 6 foot social distancing.
  • Clients are asked to arrive dressed to workout
  • Masks are required to be worn during all classes.
  • Temperature screening is done at the entrance to the hospital.
