The Capital Health Cancer Center is pleased to extend our breast cancer support groups to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer regardless of where they may be receiving their cancer treatments.
Support groups can be an important part of survivorship. Led by a breast health expert, you will benefit from educational and emotional support to assist you wherever you are in your breast cancer journey. Discussions include strategies on managing your diagnosis, treatments, treatment side-effects, survivorship in addition to dealing with anxiety and fear, adjusting to lifestyle and relationship changes, and day-to-day challenges you may be facing.
We are pleased to offer two support groups on the first Tuesday of the month at Capital Health — Hamilton and third Tuesday of the month at Capital Health Medical Center — Hopewell. Groups are open to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer regardless of where they are receiving treatment. There is no cost to participate. Pre-registration is required.
Facilitator: Aileen Diccion, RN, BSN, Breast Health Nurse Navigator
Kindly note our adherence to masking protocol recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), and the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA).
