Cultivating Calm: Anxiety Skills Group For Youth

Does your child constantly worry, have difficulty in social settings, panic attacks or irrational fears? If so, this group is a great fit! The anxiety skills group is for young people ages 10 to 12 who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and experience difficulty with stress management.

Led by Tatyana Gray, a licensed master social worker from Capital Health – Behavioral Health Specialists, this semi-structured group will provide a variety of relaxation and coping skills. Each session will provide education about stress and anxiety as well as provide a supportive environment for young people who are dealing with similar issues. Group members will be provided the time to practice skills during sessions and encouraged to practice in between sessions.

This event will be taking place virtually using Zoom. To sign up, call Capital Health – Behavioral Health Specialists at 609-689-5725. This group therapy program will be billed to your health insurance. Zoom meeting details will be provided via email 2-3 days before the program date.
