Learning Outcomes - Participants will be able to:
- Describe the pathophysiology of mTBI, and the risks of developing CTE.
- Identify the sign of a mild traumatic brain injury, and state the necessary accommodations and restrictions required.
- Discuss the cutting edge diagnostic radiologic and biochemical markers for the diagnosis and treatment of mTBI.
Participants need to attend entire program, and complete the program evaluation. No partial credit will be awarded.
This program is awarded 1.5 contact hour. Capital Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA: Provider Number P122-7/17-20.
