Learning Outcomes - Participants will be able to:

  • Describe the pathophysiology of mTBI, and the risks of developing CTE.
  • Identify the sign of a mild traumatic brain injury, and state the necessary accommodations and restrictions required.
  • Discuss the cutting edge diagnostic radiologic and biochemical markers for the diagnosis and treatment of mTBI.

This program will be held remotely using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Be sure to include your email address when registering. Zoom meeting details will be provided after registration is complete.

Participants need to attend entire program, and complete the program evaluation. No partial credit will be awarded.

This program is awarded 1.5 contact hours. Capital Health is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA: Provider Number P122-7/17-20.
