Dr. Mowyad Khalid is a board certified, fellowship trained rheumatologist. He completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, where he served as chief resident and also taught medical students at the university.
Dr. Khalid completed his fellowship training in rheumatology at Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. During his training, he had the pleasure of taking care of the medical needs of the veterans at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
Dr. Khalid received his medical degree from the University of Gezira in Wad Medani, Sudan. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. He is fluent in Arabic.
In his spare time, Dr. Khalid enjoys both playing and watching soccer and basketball and reading novels.
