Shannon Renitsky, MSN, APN

Shannon Renitsky, MSN, APNDr. Nadesakumaran completed his fellowship training in vascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, he completed his residency in general surgery at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. During his residency, he received an award for best surgical resident teacher.

Shannon Renitsky is a board certified family nurse practitioner with 10 years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from The College of New Jersey and went on to complete the college’s Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Shannon has worked for Capital Health Surgical Group – Vascular Surgery for nearly a decade, providing pre-operative, post-operative and continued surveillance for complex vascular patients in an outpatient setting. She is an integral part of the vascular team, coordinating and providing the overall management of their vascular needs. She works both independently as well as closely with the vascular surgeons. She enjoys working with patients with lower extremity edema and those needing cosmetic vein procedures.
