Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Screening can identify early stage lung cancer and increase the chance for survival. Dr. Africa Wallace, director of Thoracic Surgery at Capital Health Surgical Group, will provide an overview of lung cancer screening and its impact on the health of our community. Let’s work together to remove barriers as well as engage, motivate and encourage anyone who is at-risk to get screened.
