CyberKnife Radiosurgery: A Non-Surgical Option For Cancer Treatment

No knife? No problem. If surgery isn’t enough or is not an option, CyberKnife Radiosurgery might be. It’s an image-guided, non-invasive radiation treatment device that can treat cancer anywhere in the body with pinpoint accuracy while avoiding damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Dr. Shirnett Williamson, medical director of Radiation Oncology Services at Capital Health Cancer Center, will discuss the cancers and benign conditions for which CyberKnife can be used, as well as walk you through the process and outcomes for each site.

This event will be taking place virtually using Zoom. A call-in option is available for those without video access. Meeting details will be provided via email 2-3 days before the program date.
