Cancer Patient Restorative Yoga

Come join us for a restful and relaxing style of yoga offered on the first Thursday of every month. Restorative yoga has a calming, healing effect when holding yoga poses for a longer duration of time using props to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Props assist you in deepening your yoga practice while releasing tension and encouraging total body relaxation. You will feel refreshed and restored after a 90-minute session of restorative yoga. All postures are modified to be performed on the floor with the use of props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters and pillows. All levels and abilities are welcome.
