Were you recently diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes? Have you had diabetes for a long time and are still unsure about what to eat? Are you confused by carb counting and food labels? This class will focus on how foods affect your blood glucose. We will discuss meal planning strategies such as the plate method, carbohydrate consistency, meal timing, portion sizes, and snacks.
The class is led by Mindy Komosinsky, our registered dietitian/certified diabetes care and education specialist. Bring your questions and learn what you need to know to help manage your diabetes.
All sessions will be taking place virtually using Zoom. A call-in option is available for those without video access. Meeting details will be provided via email 1-2 days before the program date.
