Diabetes Prevention Class

Have you been diagnosed with pre-diabetes? Do you have family history of diabetes? Are you concerned about developing diabetes in the future? A certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) is a healthcare professional who possesses comprehensive knowledge and experience in the management of diabetes, pre-diabetes, and diabetes prevention. Spend an hour with Laura Moran, our registered nurse and CDCES, to learn how you can prevent diabetes through modest lifestyle changes.

Sessions will be taking place virtually using Zoom and in-person at the Diabetes Education Room located at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell. A call-in option is available for those without video access for the virtual classes. Meeting details will be provided via email 1-2 days before the program date.
