Dr. Mohammed Al-Jumayli 

Dr. Al- Jumayli received his MBChB degree in from the University of Al-Mustansiriyah in Iraq, where he graduated in the top 1% of his class. He received training as an ophthalmologist in Bagdad and then relocated to the United States in 2010. Dr. Al-Jumayli worked as a clinical fellow at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in NY, New York, prior to joining the Capital Health Internal Medicine Residency Program.

He speaks Arabic and enjoys swimming, reading and listening to music.

Dr. Usman Ali 

Dr. Ali was born in India and is a graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh, India. After receiving his degree, he completed three years of residency training in ophthalmology. He then came to the United States and worked as a research fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center in the Division of Endocrinology and the Division of Infectious Diseases in New York.

In addition to English, Dr. Ali speaks Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and Bengali. He likes traveling, watching documentaries, and keeps active with activities such as biking, swimming, canoeing and playing cricket.

Dr. Anteneh Birru 

Dr. Birru was born and raised in Ethiopia and came to the US as a young adult. He received his MD from Ross School of Medicine in Dominica. He has worked as a volunteer for the Salybia Mission in Dominica, and also organized a fundraiser to help the mission.

Dr. Birru speaks Amharic and enjoys traveling, soccer, running and watching movies.

Dr. Mohamed Hassanein 

Dr. Hassanein is a graduate of Zagazig University in his native country of Egypt. He graduated with many honors and in the top 15% of his class. While in school, he co-founded the Ebdaa Teaching Center where he also served as a teacher. After graduating, Dr. Hassanein went on to serve at the Technical Institute of Armed Forces in Egypt. He then moved to the United States and worked as a research fellow in the field of oncology in San Diego, California. He has also completed a year of General Surgery Residency Training in Brooklyn, New York. Mohamed has been involved in numerous poster and oral presentations, and speaks Arabic in addition to English.

He is a certified skydiver and enjoys fishing, traveling, swimming, reading and cooking.

Dr. Uzma Imran 

Dr. Imran was born in Pakistan, where she also attended medical school and earned her MBBS at Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women. She worked in Pakistan for a few years as a medical officer at Rasheed Hospital before moving to the US in 2012.

She speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and Arabic in addition to English. Her leisurely activities include cooking, reading and listening to music.

Dr. Arian Majko 

Dr. Majko received his medical degree from the Universiteti I Tiranes in Albania, where he ranked in the top three of his graduating class. Before moving to the United States, he worked as a general physician and was a member of the Red Cross in his home country of Albania.

In his free time, he likes reading historical fiction books, hiking, traveling and swimming, and also enjoys cycling and playing chess.

Dr. Djamshed Samiev 
Dr. Samiev is a graduate of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in Tajikistan, where he graduated with honors. Since graduating, he relocated to Nebraska and received an undergraduate degree in nursing. He has been working as a registered nurse since then.

He has interests in World War II history, Russian literature, and enjoys hiking and fitness training. In addition to English, Dr. Samiev speaks Persian, Russian and Spanish.

Dr. Supriya Sekhar 

Dr. Sekhar graduated from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre in Bangalore, India. While in school, she presented seminars to the Department of Dermatology and the Department of Obstetrics. Since graduating, she worked as a resident duty doctor in Bangalore, where she focused specifically on Obstetrics & Gynecology, Internal Medicine and Urology. Supriya speaks Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

She loves the fine arts, specifically oil painting, pottery, and sculpting. She also enjoys baking, cooking, sports, camping and traveling.  

Dr. Lindita Shehu 
Dr. Shehu graduated from Universiteti I Tiranes, Albania in the top 15% of her class. She practiced as a family physician in Albania prior to relocating to the United States. In the US, she was working as a clinical research coordinator at George Washington University Medical Center, prior to joining Capital Health for her internal medicine residency.
She speaks Albanian, Italian and some Spanish. Dr. Shehu enjoys cooking, embroidery and watching soccer championships.
Dr. Phaniram Sumanam 

Dr. Sumanam graduated from American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua. Dr. Sumanam has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy. He did graduate work in chemistry at Long Island University in Brooklyn New York, and practiced as a pharmacist, rising to the level of pharmacy manager in the United States prior to attending medical school. He is also certified in autism training.

He enjoys traveling, watching movies and reading medical journals.

Dr. Andrei Yankovich 

Dr. Yankovich graduated from Belarussian State University, Belarus. Post graduation, he completed residency training in critical care medicine and general surgery. He has several years of experience as anesthesiology/intensive care attending prior to relocating to United States in 2012.

He is fluent in Russian and enjoys reading and swimming in his spare time.
