Dr. Pirouz Parang, Dr. Neil Saxena, and Dr. Kristopher Young are board certified cardiologists with a history of successful outcomes in cardiac imaging and preventive cardiology. Now they’ve joined Capital Health to work with primary physicians and other specialists to provide men and women throughout Mercer and Burlington counties with the advanced health care they need, including state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic equipment to help promote heart healthy living.

Pirouz Parang, MD, FACC
Dr. Pirouz Parang received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, cardiac CT, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Neil Saxena, MD, RPVI, FACC
Dr. Neil Saxena received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, NJ and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, FL. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, vascular interpretation, and cardiovascular CT.

Kristopher Young, DO, FACC
Dr. Kristopher Young is medical director of the Capital Health Chest Pain Center, located at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital of Bethlehem, PA. He completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and level III echocardiography at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
