Dr. Samir Shah is a board certified, fellowship trained cardiologist with experience in diagnosing and treating a range of cardiac conditions. Dr. Shah received his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Shah was fellowship trained in cardiology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed fellowship training in interventional cardiology at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and internal medicine. Dr. Shah also received training and certification in vascular studies interpretation and Level II training and certification in coronary CT angiography.
Before joining Capital Health – Cardiology Specialists, Dr. Shah practiced with Mercer Bucks Cardiology, where he performed and interpreted noninvasive cardiac studies and procedures, including (but not limited to) exercise treadmill and nuclear stress tests; echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms; and peripheral vascular studies, including carotid, abdominal, and lower extremity arterial ultrasounds.
