Frank

 

Marcella Frank, DO, FCCP, FACOI, DABSM
Medical Director

Dr. Frank is board certified in internal medicine, sleep medicine and pulmonary disease, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. She has been practicing sleep medicine at Capital Health for more than 20 years. 

She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ. She received her fellowship training in pulmonary disease at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in New Brunswick, NJ.

Dr. Frank is a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Deluca

Debra DeLuca, MD, DABSM
Medical Director of Quality

Dr. DeLuca is board certified in sleep medicine, neurology, and clinical neurophysiology and is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. She has been practicing sleep medicine at Capital Health for more than 20 years.

She received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency training in neurology at Hahnemann University Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA. She also received her fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.

Dr. Dessislava Dimitrova 

Dessislava Dimitrova, MD, PhD

Dr. Dimitrova is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in sleep medicine. She earned her medical degree (MD) and doctorate (PhD) in immunology from Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. She received her residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in sleep medicine from Capital Health and research fellowship training in immunoncology and immunovirology from Hahnemann and Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, The American College of Physicians, and the New York Academy of Science. She is author and co-author of more than 20 publications in well recognized scientific journals. She is fluent in Bulgarian. 

Dr. Callum Dupre

 

Callum Dupre, DO

Dr. Dupre is board certified in neurology and joined the Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine after completing his fellowship training in sleep medicine at the nationally renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, NY.

Gugnani 

Manish Gugnani, MD, FCCP, DABSM

Dr. Gugnani is board certified in critical care, internal medicine, sleep medicine and pulmonary medicine, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

He completed his residency training in internal medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He received his fellowship training in neurology-sleep/wake disorders, sleep medicine and pulmonary/critical care medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. He is also author and co-author of multiple publications in well recognized scientific journals. He is also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr. Subooha Zafar 

Subooha Zafar, MD

Dr. Zafar is board certified in critical care, internal medicine, sleep medicine, and pulmonary medicine. She earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College and completed her residency at New York University Medical Center. She received her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care as well as sleep medicine from New York University School of Medicine. 

Zozula

 

Rochelle Zozula, PhD, DABSM

Dr. Zozula is a behavioral sleep medicine specialist available for consultation and is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. She earned her doctorate (PhD) in psychology (experimental cognition) from The City College of the City University of New York in New York City where she wrote her doctoral thesis on "Circadian Rhythms in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome." She also completed her postdoctoral fellowship training in psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Zozula is also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education.

Kerri Penders

Kerri Penders, MSN, C-ANP, RRT

Kerri Penders received her Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Stony Brook, NY and then completed her master's degree from Molloy College, NY. She is a licensed respiratory therapist and a board certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of health care experience. Her history as a registered nurse includes cardiac, pulmonary, intensive care, and clinical coordinator for research studies with the National Institutes of Health. She has been a nurse practitioner at the Capital Health Center for Sleep Medicine since 2004.
