Neida Hernandez-Lewis, MSN, APN-C

Neida Hernandez LewisNeida is a board certified family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in primary care and hospital settings. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, Neida was a staff RN at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where she provided care for patients in medical/surgical, telemetry, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and short procedure units as well as primary care and specialty care clinics. She later worked as an HIV case manager with Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health and as a nurse in labor and delivery units at Episcopal Hospital and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and in the medical/surgical telemetry and maternal child units at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton in Hamilton, NJ.

After receiving her Master of Science in Nursing (family nurse practitioner track) in 2009, Neida joined an adult and pediatric primary care practice in Lawrenceville, NJ. Before joining Capital Health Primary Care – Brunswick Avenue, she was a family nurse practitioner in the Heart Failure Program and the Infectious Disease Center at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Fluent in Spanish, Neida is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.
