Dr. Laurel Garber received her undergraduate degree in biology at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. After receiving her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she also served as academic chief resident.
During her time at PCOM, Dr. Garber served as a teaching assistant in the Anatomy Lab and an anatomy tutor. She has published obstetrical research in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented posters at regional medical conferences. Dr. Garber is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Garber grew up in Massachusetts, but now considers Philadelphia her home. She has lived in the city with her husband since 2012. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and dining at all of the delicious restaurants in the city.
