Tulsi Patel is a board certified nurse practitioner with advanced training in geriatric medicine and cardiac care. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Manchester, New Hampshire, Tulsi received her Master of Science in Nursing: Adult – Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey. Tulsi is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support by the American Heart Association.
Before joining Capital Health, Tulsi was an advanced practice nurse at Advocare Garden State Cardiovascular Associates in Voorhees, New Jersey, where she saw vascular patients with venous insufficiency and peripheral artery disease (PAD). Tulsi was also the research coordinator for a broad-spectrum study at Advocare that tested new equipment for the detection of PAD.As a registered nurse, she worked in telemetry/cardiac units in several New Jersey hospitals and received the DAISY Award for nursing excellence while at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey.
